How much does babysitting cost in Thailand?
Our babysitting service starts from 400 THB per hour with a minimum booking of 4 hours. There are no hidden charges. The rate is the same across all our Thailand locations.
What is the minimum booking length?
4 hours minimum. This applies to all single babysitting sessions whether daytime or evening.
Can you babysit at our hotel room or resort villa?
Yes. We are a service area business. Your babysitter comes directly to you, whether you are in a hotel room, a resort suite, a private villa or a beach bungalow.
Can you provide babysitting at short notice?
We always try our best to accommodate short-notice bookings. However, we recommend giving as much notice as possible, especially during peak season, to guarantee availability.
Are your babysitters CPR trained?
Yes. All babysitters are certified in Advanced First Aid and CPR. Certifications are regularly renewed and every team member passes a criminal background check before joining us.
What age children do your babysitters look after?
All ages, from newborns through to older children. When you enquire, tell us the ages of your children and we match the most suitable babysitter to your family.
Can I book babysitting for just one evening?
Absolutely. A single evening babysitting session is one of our most popular bookings. Minimum 4 hours, ideal for a dinner out, a sunset cruise or a couple’s spa evening.
Can two families share a babysitter?
Please enquire directly if you are travelling with another family. We can discuss what is practical based on the number of children and ages involved.
Will the babysitter put the children to bed?
Yes. Our babysitters are experienced in managing bedtime routines, bath time and settling children for the night. Please brief your babysitter on your children’s usual routine at the start of the session.
Is evening babysitting available past midnight?
Please enquire directly if you need late-night or post-midnight care. We will discuss options and any applicable rates.
Do you offer babysitting for newborns?
Yes. We have babysitters with specific newborn and infant experience. Please mention your baby’s age when you enquire so we can make the right match.
Are your babysitters English speaking?
Yes. All babysitters are conversational in English, enabling clear and confident communication with your family throughout.
What happens if I need to cancel?
For babysitting sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours notice there is no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a minimum 4-hour charge.
Can a babysitter accompany us out for the evening?
Our babysitters are based at your accommodation during a session. If you would like a nanny to accompany your family on an outing or excursion, please enquire about our daily nanny or travelling nanny service.
Which locations do you offer babysitting in Thailand?
We offer babysitting across Koh Samui, Phuket, Koh Phangan and Chiang Mai. Your babysitter comes to you wherever you are staying.
Will I get the same babysitter if I book again?
Where possible we always try to provide the same babysitter for repeat sessions. Please request this when you enquire and we will do our best to accommodate.
Can the babysitter prepare a simple meal for the children?
Yes. Our babysitters can prepare light, simple meals and snacks for children during a session. Please ensure appropriate food is available and brief your babysitter on any allergies or dietary preferences.
How do I pay for babysitting?
Payment is made directly at the end of the session. Please enquire at the time of booking about accepted payment methods.
Do I need to provide anything for the babysitter?
For daily sessions we ask that you provide a meal for the babysitter. For shorter sessions this is not required. Please ensure your accommodation is safe and appropriately set up for your children’s needs.
Can a babysitter help with twins or multiple young children?
Yes. Please let us know the ages and number of children when you enquire so we can ensure the right level of experience and, if needed, more than one carer.
Will the babysitter bring any toys or activities?
Our babysitters are resourceful and experienced at keeping children engaged using what is available in your accommodation. If you have specific toys, books or games you would like used, please point these out at the start of the session.
What if my child cries or is unsettled when I leave?
This is completely normal and our babysitters are experienced in settling children after parents leave. They use calm, warm and reassuring techniques to help children feel safe and comfortable. In our experience, most children settle quickly once they are engaged.
Can I book babysitting for a New Year’s Eve or public holiday?
Yes. We operate year-round including all public holidays and special occasions. These are our busiest periods so we strongly recommend booking well in advance to secure availability.
Can the babysitter manage a bedtime routine I have already established?
Absolutely. Please brief your babysitter clearly at the start of the session on your child’s routine — bath time, milk, stories, sleep cues — and your babysitter will follow your routine as closely as possible.
Is it safe to leave my child with a babysitter in a foreign country?
We completely understand this concern and it is exactly why our vetting process is so thorough. Every babysitter passes a criminal background check, holds current Advanced First Aid and CPR certification, and has been personally assessed by our management team. Many of our families are first-time visitors to Thailand and leave with complete peace of mind.
Can I chat with my babysitter before they arrive?
Yes. Once your booking is confirmed we are happy to introduce you to your babysitter in advance via WhatsApp so you can share details about your children and feel comfortable before they arrive.
What should I leave for the babysitter before I go out?
We recommend leaving your contact number, an emergency contact, any medical information (allergies, medications), your child’s bedtime routine, food and snacks, and the address of where you are going. Your babysitter will ask if there is anything else they need at the start of the session.
Can a babysitter look after children with food allergies?
Yes. Please communicate all dietary requirements and allergies clearly when you enquire and again directly to your babysitter at the start of the session. Ensure appropriate safe food is available in your accommodation.
Do babysitters receive ongoing training?
Yes. Our team participates in regular refresher training including first-aid and CPR renewal, child development awareness and service standards. We invest in our team so that you receive the highest standard of care.
